Multiple sclerosis

"My name is Jeppe, I am 53 years of age, I am married and have two children.

I work for IBM, on reduced time, as I have a relatively severe case of Multiple sclerosis. During the last two years, it has become increasingly difficult for me to use my arms and hands. I use an iPad during most of the day, both for work and leisure. So discovering the TubusOne™ was great news to me; I use it during most of the day, and I’m completely dependent on it, but also enthusiastic that such a simple tool can be such a great help.“

"Flipping the rather large pages of my favorite newspaper has become increasingly difficult.

Currently, I am still able to read it in the morning, while having my first coffee. But later in the day, it is too difficult for me to hold the paper with my hands, which means that I have to continue reading it on my tablet. I have to add that the built-in voice control function my online newspaper provider offers could work perfectly for flipping through the online pages – however, it always "freezes" after a couple of pages and unfortunately, the online newspaper provider is not able to fix this problem.

Fortunately, my TubusOne™ has been able to fix this challenge for me: With this, I can easily swipe or click to enlarge or scroll forward and backward, etc.; it’s like using my arms and hands! Try it yourself and I am pretty sure that you will be amazed!"

"I used to work a lot with „Excel" on my computer. However, because of my multiple sclerosis, it became increasingly difficult for me to use my arms and hands. That's why I tried to shift my work more and more to my iPad, as I can also use my TubusOne™ with it. At first, I have been doubtful about being able to continue working with "Excel", especially since the iPad version only offers limited functionality – for example, I am not able to create pivot tables, and work with several documents at the same time is anything but easy. However, there are a number of workarounds and the more often I use "Excel" on my iPad, the more I discover and find out.

Today I am able to do 80% of what I used to do via "Excel". I am very happy that I dared to try – one more thing that I can continue to do despite all my challenges! And with an extra TubusClip mounted on my work desk setup, I can easily switch between work and private time."
